Rebuilding Your Relationship
with Yourself After Surviving Abuse
Use these 6 proven strategies to repair the relationship with yourself. (#3 was how I was able to start trusting my decision again)
I work with survivors of abusive relationships who are ready to reclaim control of their lives.
My clients are often individuals who have felt disempowered by their past or current circumstances, yet are eager to rewrite their stories, find fulfillment, and experience joy in both their personal and professional lives. My role is to walk alongside you in this journey, offering insights and tools to help you regain your confidence and autonomy.
My approach is designed to empower you to break free from the cycles of abuse and self-neglect that may have held you back, allowing you to rediscover your own worth and potential.
Together, we will explore the patterns that have shaped your experiences and work toward fostering personal and relational growth that feels both authentic and sustainable.

“Nia Renee actually saved my life. Had it not been for her, I truly believe my partner at the time would have eventually killed me.”
“My relationship with Nia Renee is one that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. She was with me while I was actively battling depression and while I was in a domestic violence situation. Watching Nia Renee try and heal during that time made it easier for me to identify that I was in an unsafe situation. It didn’t change how long it took me to get out of it but I had the support I needed and it made it easier to stay out of it. I don’t know if she knows it, she will now, but Nia Renee actually saved my life. Had it not been for her, I truly believe my partner at the time would have eventually killed me. She showed me that healing wasn’t always beautiful or easy. It was painful, scary, and hard but so worth it all. She’s my best friend, biggest fan, and a huge inspiration for me and my life as a whole now.”

"Letters To You" - A Journey Through Healing
“Letters To You” is a deeply personal collection of letters to my abusers, poignant journal entries, and creative writings from various stages of my life, including my high school years and times of significant personal revelations. This book not only chronicles my emotional and psychological state during crucial healing phases but also shares the genesis of the “How To Love Me Journal,” conceived amidst my last abusive relationship. This book offers a mirror for your own healing, providing solace, understanding, and a path forward. It’s a testament to the power of writing as therapy and an invitation to release your own unspoken words in a space of safety and validation.
How to Love Me Journal
Originating in the depths of my last abusive relationship, the “How To Love Me Journal” was my way to articulate my needs and teach my partner how to support someone with a history of chronic illness, trauma and abuse. What started as a personal tool has blossomed into the heart and soul of my business which inevitably became, How To Love A Battered Woman, providing education on nurturing relationships with survivors of trauma. This journal includes prompts to delve into your internal emotions, understand your love languages, and clarify your communication preferences.
